These terms cover the Table Totals for Confluence app. Your purchase, billing and refunds run through the Atlassian Marketplace and are governed by Atlassian's own terms; these cover the app itself.
It wraps a table you already have and adds sorting, filtering and a totals row. It never changes your table, and it asks for no Confluence permissions.
We promise the total tells you what it counted. Every totals row carries a line saying how many rows went into it, how many cells could not be read as numbers, and which ones they were. That line is there even when everything added up, because a warning that only appears on failure is a warning nobody reads.
We promise it does not guess. A cell reading "n/a", "12 units" or "see below" is left out and
counted as left out, never quietly treated as zero. Currency symbols, thousands separators and
accounting brackets are read properly: (1,500) is minus one thousand five hundred.
What we cannot do is know what you meant. Where a column contains a value like
1,234, which is one thousand two hundred and thirty four in Boston and one point two
three four in Berlin, the app decides from the rest of the column and says on the page
that it had to decide. If the column gives it nothing to go on, that ambiguity is stated
rather than resolved silently.
Totals cover the rows you can currently see. Type a filter and the total follows it, and the line underneath says so, because a total that ignores the filter somebody just typed is a number about a table they are not looking at.
The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
A totals row is not an accounting system. If a figure matters legally or financially, check it in whatever system of record produced it. This adds up the cells on a wiki page, and a wiki page is only as right as the last person who edited it.
Every total says what it counted and what it skipped, without anybody having to check. If you ever find a total that silently included or excluded something without saying so, tell us and we will treat it as the highest priority thing in the queue, because it is the exact failure this product exists to avoid.
Support is by email, in English, on a best-effort basis during UK and US business days. There is no contracted response time. If that matters to you, say so before buying rather than after.
Atlassian bills you, not us. Pricing, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow the Atlassian Marketplace terms shown at the point of purchase. We do not hold your card details and never see them.
Covered in the privacy policy. In short: the app runs inside your own Atlassian instance, makes no outbound calls, and stores no personal data.
Uninstall the app whenever you want. Your tables stay exactly where they are, in your pages, in Confluence's own format. You lose the totals row, not the data, and this app stored nothing of yours to leave behind.
If these change, the date at the top changes with them. A change that materially reduces what the app does will be said plainly on the Marketplace listing, not only here.
