Table Totals for Confluence

Privacy policy

Last updated 16 August 2026

There is no server of ours. This app runs entirely inside Atlassian's own infrastructure on the Forge platform. Nothing it reads or writes is sent anywhere else, because there is nowhere else for it to go.

What it does with your Confluence

It reads the table you put inside the macro, and adds sorting, filtering and a totals row to it. That is the whole job.

It asks for no permissions at all. Look at the install screen: the list is empty. Confluence hands the macro its own body, so the app never calls a Confluence API, never reads anything else on the page, never sees any other page, and cannot write anything anywhere.

It stores nothing. No copy of your table, no cache, no settings. Sorting and filtering happen in your own browser and are forgotten when you navigate away.

The table stays yours. It lives in your page, in your content, in Confluence's own format. Uninstall the app and the table is still there; you lose the totals row, not the data.

What it asks for, and why

Nothing. There is no permissions table on this page because there are no permissions to list, which is the shortest security review a Confluence admin will have this year.

Personal data

None is collected. Whatever is in your table is in your table; the app reads it in your browser to sort and total it, and it never leaves your Confluence.

Analytics and tracking

None. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts, no telemetry back to us. Atlassian collects its own platform-level operational metrics about app invocations, as it does for every Forge app, and that is described in Atlassian's own privacy policy.

Where the data lives

Inside your Atlassian instance, in the region Atlassian hosts it in. The app makes no outbound network calls to any other host. It is eligible for Atlassian's Runs on Atlassian programme, which is their check for exactly this: that an app stores its data on Atlassian infrastructure and does not egress.

Deleting your data

There is nothing to delete, because nothing of yours was ever stored or sent anywhere. Uninstalling removes the macro; your tables remain exactly as they were.

Support

Support requests reach us by email. If you send us a description of a problem, we hold that email in order to answer it, and for no other purpose. We do not add support contacts to any mailing list.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change ever made the statement at the top of this page untrue, that would be a different product, and it would be said plainly here and on the listing rather than buried in a revision.
